County Rubbish/Debris Pick-up (website)

Debris Pick-Up

Normally, debris will picked up during the second full week of each month. Material to be picked up must be on the street by 7am that Monday morning.  Remember, they will NOT pick up 'hazardous material' or wood that has been treated for bugs (i.e. treated lumber used for decking, etc).  They will try to respond at other times (as their scheduling will allow) by calling:  Restrictions-on website

Waste Management - 831-8900 (follow prompts)

Pick-up Schedule and Map
Type in your address for your schedule.

Per phone call with Waste Management on 27 May 2020, the only holidays observed by WM (in Mississippi) is:
"NEW YEARS DAY", "THANKSGIVING" & "CHRISTMAS".
If any other holidays fall on a Monday, trash and recycle will picked up in our community as scheduled.

Garbage & Recycling are picked up the same day.  Garbage truck and Recycling trucks are different trucks, one may pick-up before the other.  (Note: The recycle truck(s) (in St Andrews community) picks up one side of the street, then returns to pick up the other side) (The garbage truck(s) does both sides at the same time)

Recycle Material.
Acceptable and Unacceptable Recycling Material is labeled on the lid of the cart.  Please ensure recycling material does not have food or other residuals in or on it; this contaminates the recycling and has to be disposed of at the proper facility.

Also a friendly reminder; please refrain from placing any type of signs (yard sales, moving sales, political signs, etc) on the property at the entrance to our community.  When those signs are stuck in the ground in the median, holes are punched into the fabric beneath the mulch and provides another means for weeds to grow thru.

Lets keep the entrance area looking great!
